You can use JJazzLab an open-source backing track generation software, together with a DAW and various VSTs to generate realistic backings tracks.
The idea is that you output MIDI from JJazzLab, pass it through the virtual midi port (created with loopMIDI), and input MIDI data into to Reaper mapping them to the appropriate channels and note ranges in order to trigger VSTs.
