If you're unaware, this is the regular battle theme in SMT V, and it's honestly one of my favorites in that category. I love how it stays interesting and fun even after hours of play!
As far as my cover goes, I took a lot of liberties and just tried to have fun with it, not really following the original too closely. A lot of parts were originally improvised on guitar/bass and some are pretty much completely original. Hope y'all don't find any of that too annoying haha.
It's also worth mentioning that I actually started playing SMT V recently! My brother got my the game and I really appreciate that, the game has been a blast so far!

RHYTHM GUITAR
EQ → Archetype: Nolly → GGD Studio Cabs Cali → EQ
For Archetype: Nolly, I used the 2nd amp, with the compressor and overdrive 1 engaged. And for GGD Cabs, I used Detailed 57 Dark, Thick 57 Bright, and Detailed Fredman.
Also, I used an octave pedal (from Logic's Pedalboard plugin) on a few of the rhythm guitar parts. It should be pretty obvious which parts have that effect.

LEAD GUITAR
EQ → Archetype: Nolly → GGD Studio Cabs Cali → EQ → Replika → Silververb
For Archetype: Nolly, I used the 3rd amp, with the compressor and overdrive 1 engaged. And for GGD Cabs, I used Smooth 57 Medium Dark, and Smooth R121 Medium Bright.
————————————————
BASS
Compressor → Amplitube 5 Free Bass Amp → EQ → Compressor → Multiband Compressor → TDR Nova
I mainly used TDR Nova (dynamic EQ) for controlling the low mids: 280 Hz or so. Lots of compression before and after the amp, high ratios like 10:1.

DRUMS
I used EZ Drummer, with all drums and cymbals coming from the Bright Room, except the kick, which was from the Main Room.
I'm pretty sure I used the Big Rock preset as a base.
I decided to use EZD for this, since it seems to fit this more classic sound better. I didn't want this cover to have that modern metal sound I have in a lot of my stuff, and I really wanted that resonant snare thing the original has!
Kick: C&C 14x18" Player Date
Snare: 6.5x14" Ludwig Supraphonic
Toms: mostly Ludwig toms, the top two rack toms were Gretsch.
Cymbals: idk, there's too many lol. Hats were the 16" Paiste 2002 Big Beats.
Didn't do a whole lot of processing on the drums tbh. Just a little EQ on each track, with some compression and multiband compression on the snare and a compressor and Console EQ (Punchy) on the drum bus.
I thought the sounded cool, but I'm curious what y'all think, this was my first time using EZ Drummer.
