Yuletide’s Final Day 🎄 Friends, Shopping & Surviving the Mud

Описание: This video was filmed on December 20, 2025, the final day of Yuletide Village Season of Lights at Renaissance Park, home of the Ohio Renaissance Festival. After a brutally cold previous weekend, the temperatures were much better for the final day, starting in the 40s or even low 50s during the afternoon, before dropping back into the 30s once darkness arrived.

I arrived right at opening time on Saturday at 3 PM. From 3 to 5 PM, the shops and food locations are open, but there are no stage shows during that window. Unfortunately, the weather leading up to this day created a major challenge. Snow from earlier weeks combined with several days of rain turned the parking lot and the entire festival grounds into a muddy mess. The mud was extremely sketchy, and I had to walk very slowly and deliberately the entire time just to stay upright.

That was the rough part of the day. The good news is that I ran into several friends and ended up spending a couple of hours just hanging out, shopping, and exploring. We walked through many shops that I had not visited at all during the season, which gave me a great chance to highlight a lot of the vendors and small businesses throughout Yuletide Village. Along the way, we also ran into even more friends, turning the final day into a very social and fun experience.

This entire video focuses on hanging out, shopping, visiting shops, and carefully navigating the muddy paths together. Despite the conditions, everyone managed to stay vertical for this video, and it turned into a memorable and fitting way to wrap up the Yuletide Village season.

Yuletide Village Season of Lights runs from November 28 through December 20, 2025, on the grounds of the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The event features festive lights, unique shopping, seasonal food and drinks, and a holiday atmosphere that changes every visit.
