Mr Chippie goes along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route to see how the Eurosonic ES200CB hand-portable works after the servicing work two videos back. During that servicing I got 2.5W out of the transmitter. This test is with the factory rubber duck antenna. We start the test using the radio's built in microphone, then move over to plugging in a Maxon CA1420 external mic for the rest of the test. We amazingly managed 4 miles on this radio back to the Harrier CBHQ base station.
