Severus Snape & Other Characters Based on Real People

Описание: Some movies are biopics that go out of their way to tell you that they’re entirely based on real events; these aren’t those movies. Instead, these are the fictional characters who drew influence off of real life people that you might not have known about. Plenty of the characters from the Harry Potter franchise are based off of people that J.K. Rowling knew in her personal life, from her childhood friends to the teacher who taught her chemistry! The Marvel Cinematic Universe provides us with a few examples on this list as well; for example, Tony Stark drew so much influence from the real-life figure of Elon Musk, that it even led to him receiving a cameo in Iron Man 2! Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson of the Spiderman movies including Spider-Man: Far From Home is actually based on someone who may surprise you, considering very few of us can imagine Stan Lee so angry. From the Star Wars film franchise, we learn that Jabba the Hutt is actually based on one actor from Casablanca. Harley Quinn of the DC Extended Universe was actually inspired by the very first actress to have ever portrayed her. And did you know that Sylvester Stallone actually faced a lawsuit from boxer Chuck Wepner over the Rocky film franchise? The Walt Disney Company provides us with two characters who were based off of real life people, the first one being Ursula from the Little Mermaid, who was actually based on the drag performer Divine, and the last one being Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh.
