Moulding and designing in a single step – this video presents an innovation to integrate the processing of DecoJect® foil. This combines injection moulding with IMG (in-mould graining) directly form the roll into the mould. As opposed to conventional IMD processes, the moulded foil remains in the tool and is directly back-moulded. High-quality grained surfaces are obtainable by using a nickel shell in a vacuum process.
