Nintendo is SHUTTING DOWN Splatoon 1 for real this time :( In April 2024, Splatoon 1 as well as almost every single Wii U and 3DS game will close its doors permanently. No more online connectivity especially hurts games like Splatoon 1 (excluding the people who play the game primarily for speedrunning and the like)
You couldnt even make money to buy clothes or weapons after this :( so sad! I've laid out my thoughts about it and the future.
