Bihar’s First Expressway | MEIL

Amas - Dharbanga express way is Bihar’s first express way to improve the road network of Bihar and facilitates the commuter in the state.

This project consisting of 189 km length starts from the Amas, a town near to the Buddhist shrine Gaya and ends at Nawada, near Dharbhanga in the Bihar state.

MEIL is executing the works in three major segments from Amas to Pal Dashara in Bihar with a total length of 150 km.

This expressway passing through seven districts including Arwal, Jehanabad, Patna, Vaishali, Gaya, Aurangabad and Dharbhanga in Bihar.

After completion of this project, it will connect north to south Bihar with travel time of less than four hours.
