Footage from Cardiff shows officers arresting a man during an investigation into suspected drug supply activity.
Police say a mobile phone linked to drug distribution was found inside his flat. When questioned, the suspect claimed he was keeping the phone in rice after a friend had dropped it in water.
Officers also recovered Class A substances, digital scales and cash equipment during the search.
According to South Wales Police, the suspect later pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court.
