How to test magnetic heads | Portastudios | cassette multitrackers | erase & record / playback heads

Описание: Sometimes one or more of the the coils in the magnetic heads in your Portastudio or other multi-track cassette recorder can break, preventing playback or erase or recording of one or more channels. Before using other techniques to find problems in amplifier and mixer circuits, you can do a simple test using the continuity setting of a digital multi-meter to establish whether your issue is being caused by the head itself.
