Описание: Homestake Reservoir is located on Homestake Creek in the West Slope's Eagle River basin, not far from the Holy Cross Wilderness. Completed in 1967, the original filing for the Homestake water rights was made in 1954. Homestake Reservoir, Homestake Tunnel, Otero Pump Station and the Homestake Pipeline are a joint project between the cities of Aurora and Colorado Springs, which share equally in the yield and costs of the system. All of the elements of the system were designed and built as an integrated water diversion and delivery system.
