Four of Cups Tarot Card - Daydream - Imagery, Symbolism and Meaning

Описание: The Four of Cups shows a man sitting below a tree with three cups before him. His arms (and legs) are crossed and his head is down, as if in meditation or deep thought.

Our figure leans against a tree which is both a symbol of nature and of mankind. While he's sitting next to (or on top of) the tree's roots, it's also an indication that he's gone back to his own. You may take the hint that it's time to take a break from your daily routine to find time for reflection and contemplation. OR, maybe it's time to stop brooding and start acting like the tree and grow.

Traditional meanings of the Four of Cups are dissatisfaction, boredom, contemplation, apathy, isolation, and disillusionment. Stuck in his "daydream" - it's time to see the world through fresh eyes.
