✨ FULL ENGLISH TRANSLATION — MAHĀDEVASTUTIḥ

1. Victory to Shankara! Peaceful, moon-radiant, giver of pure wealth, purifier of all. You take away the suffering of Your devotees — I bow to You.

2. O Lord who blesses all hearts, who burns away the forest of sins, who performs countless divine deeds — You dried the pride of Kāma with Your fire.

3. Free from birth and death, fulfiller of devotion, bearer of the serpent, half-body shared with the daughter of the mountain, You fill the entire universe.

4. Form of the three worlds, beautiful and terrible, with eyes that open and close the fire of dissolution — Lord of beings and ghosts! You even lift the fallen with Your hand.

5. You cover all worlds, bearer of Om, shining like nectar, pleased fully by Parvati’s devotion — to You, O Shiva, I bow forever.

6. O Shiva, O Lord of mountains, giver of prosperity, ruler of the universe — protect Your devotees and destroy obstacles.

7. I do not fear Yama; I do not accept any god other than You. I bow only at Your feet, O Shiva.

8. Only devotion to You destroys sins. O Shiva, even the unworthy who bow are protected. I bow to You, the destroyer during dissolution.
