For Indigenous Peoples globally, connection to land, water and territory has been identified as a central determinant of health and wellness. The We Walk Together project gathered and brought together First Nations people in BC, including Knowledge Keepers and youth, to explore and understand the connection between having a close relationship with land, water and territory and having optimal health and wellness.
