Check out the second episode of Sailing BC where Adelle and Christopher start the journey to bring their new sail boat from Gig Harbour Washington back to Canada during one of the coldest winters in decades. On the first night they lose their heater and a few days later brace for a major sailboat disaster with their boat in the Swinomish channel.
Sailing the PNW has its challenges and being a new boater, learning how to navigate, learning how to sail, is a real challenge on the water. Last thing we want is a sailboat disaster. Sailing from Shilshole marina, to Oak Harbour, then up through the Swinish Channel to LaConner.
