Otto by Platoona: Local, Open-Source Browser Automation Agent in Action

Описание: In this video, I’m demoing Otto Browser Agent by Platoona.com, an open-source, local-first automation agent that can control your browser just like a human — clicking, typing, navigating, filling forms, and chaining real workflows across websites.

Otto runs entirely on your machine as a Chromium extension. There’s no cloud execution, no accounts, and no external service. You can inspect the full code, modify it, and run everything locally.

The goal of Otto is simple:
make it possible to automate real, messy browser workflows even when there are no APIs or integrations available.

Instead of scripting against one page or building brittle one-off tools, Otto operates at the UI level, so it can work with almost any website.

In this demo, you’ll see Otto:

navigate across pages,

interact with forms and buttons, and

execute a multi-step browser flow end to end.

This project is extremely early, and a lot is still rough. I’m sharing it to get honest feedback from developers and automation builders before taking it further.
