A medically fragile immune compromised special needs child during flu season is scary! Your runny nose easily turns into a hospital admission for kiddos like our Jacob.
This is in 2016, Jacob is 8yrs old here (6 years past expectancy) and flu season hit hard. Doctor appts turned into hospital stays, follow ups turned into readmissions, round and round it went.
I have learned that our children are so much stronger than we could ever try to be and take on battles with a smile.
