Steve Hackett, the superb lead guitarist of Genesis from 1971-1977 with his band, on CRUISE TO THE EDGE (abbreviated to CTTE in the title line) 2025 perform The Devil's Cathedral, featuring Jonas Reingold ripping it on bass guitar and Steve also taking an extended solo in the Stardust Theater (the main venue) on the NCL Norwegian Gem on April 8, 2025. The Devil's Cathedral was written by Roger King, and Steve Hackett and was the fifth track on Surrender of Silence, Steve Hackett's 26th studio album released in September 2021. In Steve's solo's in this song, he employs two of the technics, two-hand tapping and sweep picking that were far ahead of their time (and influenced Eddie Van Halen, Brian May and Alec Lifeson).
