Soccer violence continued for the third day in Marseille on Monday (15/6) as English and Tunisian fans battled on the streets and beach of the city. Riot police were forced to lob teargas to stop fierce fighting on the big, popular Prado beach where a big screen had been
thrown up to watch the match. Panic broke out by the seaside when Tunisian fans, angered by England snatching a 1-0 lead just before half-time, hurled cans at England fans, unleashing a prompt response.
Plumes of teargas smoke filled the air and people scattered in all directions after police stepped in to stop a hail of bottles, seats and metal barricades flying through the air.
