एक न्यूज वेबसाइट की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक अमिताभ बच्चन और रेखा अपने शुरुआती दिनों में एक दूसरे के प्रति प्रोफेशनल चीजों के चलते कड़वाहट रखते थे. दोनों की एक फिल्म की शूटिंग एक बार कोलकाता में हो रही थी. शूटिंग का वक्त सुबह 9 बजे तय किया गया था. बिग बी तो सेट पर 7 बजे ही पहुंच जाते थे और वो 9 बजे तक शॉट्स के लिए तैयार भी हो जाते थे. दूसरी ओर रेखा समय पर नहीं पहुंचती थीं. वो कोलकाता में शॉपिंग करने लगती थीं और कई घंटे तक सेट पर नहीं आती थीं. ‪@ManojFilmiDuniya‬
