Sirui 35mm Saturn 1.6x 460g anamorphic lens review with Crane M3 travel gimbal

I use a Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal along with my Sony camera to create one of the lightest anamorphic camera rigs…

Weighing around 2kg, I can add a free world monitor and track most things, and hopefully not get tired too often…

There are minor things I didn’t like…
The close focus is a arm stretching 90cm and the T2.9 reduces the bokeh significantly compared with the other lenses in the Sirui lineup…

Other then that you can forgive Sirui for the wide aperture…
It’s probably best to use tge 35mm as a tracking lens and the longer depth of focus will help you film moving objects…
I only hope that Sirui can make more light weight lenses in the future…

Until then I look forward to the future of anamorphic lenses from Sirui…
