I Wanna Stay Home/Jellyfish bass & vocals by Cara
Yet another from Jellyfish' first LP Bellybutton. Jason Falkner played bass as well as guitar on most of this LP and I really love his work, but Tim Smith's basslines on Split Milk are superior and more fun and complex and beautiful, I don't know if it's the songs or he just came up with better lines. Anyway, since the Bellybutton bass lines are much simpler and easier to play, I decided to sing most of these songs while I play.
I really love the melody to this one, a fantastic song, very poignant lyrics. It has a pretty good bassline too. This leaves 4/10 songs from Bellybutton to go, 2 of which I'm working on now and should have next week or so.
