This wasn't as annoying as I was expecting it to be. First encounter is a bit of a drag, but nothing too bad. Ecthar is pretty free with bonk - easy two phase and not as annoying to do as grapple.
Haven't used Microcasm in a hot minute, so wanted to try it with the kinetic artifact perks and it helping with the shield. I forgot about its exotic perk giving it more damage after a super (whoops). I don't think using that properly would have given me a two phase, but a two phase is maybe possible with Withering Gaze on arc.
