Описание: 光器のシリーズを作り始めてから20年以上になります。
最初から試行錯誤しながらの技法だったのですが、最近でもまだ、工程を見直すことによっての焼き上がりの進歩があります。

このシリーズは技巧が美しさに直結してしまうこともあるので、まだまだ精度を上げる余地がたくさんあることは喜ばしいことだと、制作に苦心しながらも捉えるようにしています。

工芸の作品が内包している技法と美しさの親密性を大切にしながら、それに溺れることなく、存在として美しいものを目指していくことが、「光器」の制作の立ち位置だと考えています。

It has been over 20 years since I started making the Luminescent Vessel series.
From the beginning, the technique was a process of trial and error, but even recently, by reviewing the process, I can see the works have been improved.

In this series, technique is sometimes directly linked to beauty, so I think that I'm glad that there is still a lot of room for improvement in precision. There are some production struggles, though.

I believe that the position of creating "Luminescent Vessel" is to value the intimacy of the techniques and beauty inherent in craft works and to aim for something beautiful as it exists without getting drowned in such intimacy.

2001　Finishes his ceramic study at Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center.
2002　Wins a prize at the 6th International Ceramic Festival in Mino.
2005　Wins the newcomers award at Faenza International Ceramic Exhibition、and wins a prize at Korea Ceramics Biennale.
2006　Wins a prize at the Myer Foundation International Ceramic Exhibition in Sidney.
2008　Wins a Grand prize at the Third Paramita Ceramic Awards
　　　Wins a Special Awards at the International Ceramics Festival in Mino
2009　Wins a prize at the Third Kikuchi Biennale at Musee Tomo
2011　Pottery working at Massachusetts, the United States, under the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists by Agency for Cultural Affairs the Government of Japan.
2013 Exhibited at "Master Teabowls of Our Days” Musee Tomo
