Bent pushrod.. what happened? Only 13k miles

Описание: Did lifters on my 2015 Escalade about 13k miles ago. 2 of the rocker arms and 2 pushrods had some wear (ball and socket) so I replaced those with factory parts. Started to hear a slight tick over the weekend and took the valve cover off and found a bent push rod. It was on the same lifter that had gone bad previously. Perhaps coincidence? Swapped in one of the old lifters and she’s running fine (knock on wood). What could cause the pushrod to bend while engine ran fine.. no misfire even. #pushrod #escalade #gm #garage #fixing
