The incident was discussed by Dilip Kumar himself in one of his articles. That was fallen on the set of film Deedar. In this movie Ashok Kumar .. Dilip Kumar and Nargis were in the main roles.
In a scene of the film, Ashok Kumar had to slap Dilip Kumar's cheeks. Now Ashok Kumar had always been of funny nature.. he would slap Dilip Kumar ..but knowingly doing so will have to take the shot again .
Dilip Kumar understood that Ashok Kumar is knowingly doing this..
He considered his senior Ashok Kumar as an older brother..but their relation was very friendly.
After three slaps..in the next take..when Ashok Kumar slap him.. he cut his teeth in the hands of Ashok Kumar. Now Ashok Kumar ruffled him saying that you cut your senior.
On this, director of the film, Nitin Bose and other people also said that Dilip Kumar should not have done this with his senior .. while Ashok Kumar continued to tease Dilip Kumar standing far away.
Well .. after shooting, Ashok Kumar drew a lot of Dilip Kumar saying that senior is always senior... and both laughed a lot...
