… a true voice sings and it’s a long way back. A long way back is a great song and this is a great voice singing what is its salient truth. This was on a visit to Hamburg in 2016 to the Record Store District near the Studiokolleg, here Zardoz Records, Groove City Records, Hanseplatte, Selecta Reggae and Fischkopp are a record collectors treasure trove of vinyl and glass.
These guys completely blew me away as I heard the soulful voice and heartfelt vibe calling me to Groove City. Suffice to say it’s so great to stumble across talent like this and if I was managing this songwriting duo of geniuses they’d be Hall & Oats by now! Seriously, these guys are kicking out the grooves and tearing my heart out .!
