1984 Alfa Romeo 184T F1 ex Riccardo Patrese - V8 Turbo Engine Warm-Up & Demo Laps, ASI in Pista 2025

Описание: At the first ASI in Pista event of 2025, at the Tazio Nuvolari circuit in Cervesina, Pavia, the icing on the cake was the Alfa Romeo 184T Formula One, year 1984, chassis number 003 ex Riccardo Patrese. We had the pleasure of witnessing the start-up, the subsequent engine warm-up and finally some demonstration laps on the track in parade with other legendary racing cars. Specifically, this single-seater obtained third place with Patrese during the 1984 Monza Grand Prix. Indeed, the project's sore points were its precarious reliability and enormous engine consumption. Designed by engineers Luigi Marmiroli and Mario Tollentino, it's equipped with a composite material chassis built by the Advanced Composites Group in England. The engine is a 1.5 L V8 type 890T Turbo capable of developing a power of about 670 HP and is moved by a manual six-speed Alfa/Hewland gearbox. The weight of the single-seater is only 550 kg, and the aerodynamics were taken care of by the Austrian engineer Gustav Brunner. In 1984, the official drivers Riccardo Patrese and Eddie Cheever obtained 11 total points in the racing season, and the best result remains third place for Riccardo Patrese in the Italian Grand Prix. Alla prima manifestazione ASI in Pista del 2025, presso il circuito Tazio Nuvolari di Cervesina, Pavia, la ciliegina sulla torta è stata sicuramente l'Alfa Romeo 184T di Formula Uno, anno 1984, telaio numero 003 ex Riccardo Patrese. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assistere all'accensione, al successivo warm-up del motore ed infine ad alcuni giri in pista dimostrativi, in parata, assieme ad altre leggendarie auto da corsa. Nello specifico questa monoposto ha ottenuto il terzo posto con Patrese durante il Gran Pemio di Monza del 1984. Sicuramente l'affidabilità precaria e gli enormi consumi del motore sono stati i punti dolenti del progetto. Disegnata dagli ingegneri Luigi Marmiroli e Mario Tollentino è dotata di una scocca in materiali compositi costruita dalla Advanced Composites Group in Inghilterra. Il propulsore è un V8 1.5 L tipo 890T Turbo capace di sviluppare una potenza di circa 670 HP ed è mosso da un cambio manuale a sei marce Alfa/Hewland. Il peso della monoposto è di soli 550 Kg e l'aerodinamica è stata curata dall'ingegnere austriaco Gustav Brunner. Nel 1984 i piloti ufficiali Riccardo Patrese ed Eddie Cheever riescono ad ottenere 11 punti totali nella stagione di corse ed il miglior risultato resta il terzo posto di Riccardo Patrese nel Gran Premio d'Italia.
