Today, we revisit the San Pedro waterfront Red Car Trolley. First, you will get a brief look at the "Red Car Museum" in Seal Beach CA, made from the body of Pacific Electric service car number 1734. Then it's off to San Pedro where you will see both of the replica red cars they have there in operation, numbers 500 and 501. This operation began in 2003 and runs Friday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 9 PM. There are plans in the works to extend the route, but it currently runs a short 1.2 miles along the waterfront.
