Step 1) Try DX11/DX12, try -dx11/-dx12 in launch options
Step 2) Disable HDR, set GstRender.EnableHDR 1 to 0
Step 3) Run the game from the game installation folder, Run the game as an administrator, try compatibility mode, disable full screen optimization
Step 4) If you are using any third-party antivirus like Comodo, Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, bit defender, then allow the game exe to your antivirus program. Windows Security users allow the game exe file to controlled folder access and firewall
Step 5) Delete Settings Folder in Document (All saved settings will be lost), if not resolved rename STAR WARS Battlefront II folder in documents, create a backup first, this will result in loss of game progress
Step 6) Steam users install EA App, open the EA app then try launching the game from steam library
Step 7) Close Steam and EA App then Open EA App as Admin, then start Battlefront on Steam, Steam users also try launching game from EA App
Step 8) Run EA App/Steam as an administrator
Step 9) Run EA App Recovery
Step 10) End EA app in task manager, then restart the game
Step 11) If using multiple monitors, set display to Display 1, Disconnect multiple monitor setup, try launching the game on primary/single monitor
Step 12) Unplug controller from the USB port, launch the game, once game is up and running, plug in the controller
Step 13) Uninstall mods
Step 14) Repair/Verify the game files on EA App/Steam/Epic Games Launcher
Step 15) Use Nvidia App to launch the game

Step 22) Update Windows
Step 23) Unplug external devices such as hotas, pedals, racing wheel, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected. Uninstall VPN, disable overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay). Do not overclock, set it default,Close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc. in task manager remove the undervolt
Step 24) Increase Virtual Memory
Step 25) Update BIOS
Step 26) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
