We filmed this scene in January 2023 as we were exploring beaches along the east coast of Kauai. We followed a trail that took off from a parking area and through a long "tree tunnel" down to this beach which is known as Paliku Beach. It was a beautiful golden beach with black rocks scattered on the north end. The waves would have been too much for us to try swimming in, but they were fun to watch.
