On 3 September 2025, the African School of Regulation (ASR) joined the AFREC Webinar on Enhancing Skills and Institutional Capacity in the African Energy Ecosystem.
Dr. Charly Gatete shared insights from the ASR–AFREC project, “Framework for Cross-Border Strategic Cooperation in Skills Sharing,” highlighting the need for collaboration to strengthen energy skills across Africa.
The session featured contributions from AFREC, EDF, Strathmore University, and MK Consultancy, and brought together experts from ministries, regulators, academia, and utilities across the continent.
ASR continues to work with partners to build Africa’s human capital for a sustainable energy future.
