Chris landed back in St. Louis safe and sound after two years. He breathed in the humid air he missed, and was emotional leaving the airport. It was still very early in the morning and dark outside, and dawn hadn't even cracked yet. He spent the night roaming through his childhood neighborhood. St Louis was known for having very foresty like neighborhoods and areas, with many trees surrounding the houses. He felt heartbreaking nostalgia as he roamed the neighborhoods, each area bringing familiar childhood memories, but turned empty due to how much life has changed. He visited his childhood park where he and his parents and friends would always visit, climbed the high hilltop in the middle of the park, and stared at the full moon glistening over the lake for a while. He hopes returning back to his home town can help him reconnect with his childhood friends, and pursue a new relationship with Roxy. He never realized how much she crushed on him until they started chatting more online over the last few months, and now he relies on her to save him from himself. He's scared of who he's become and knows deep down there is a beast inside him, an unstoppable force that will attack when threatened, and turn any enemy into his prey, and he doesn't want to be this way... This is why he had to leave Utah and return to St. Louis. There, everyone was against him, but here, people were used to him and his quirks, and understood him, and he realized that maybe this is where his home will always be. He had friends and family that made him feel welcome here. Perhaps this is where he'll find his true pack, and where he can find a soul to hold. Until then, he roams his childhood hometown as a lone wolf...

This one's another solid song from the Psychotic Memories album that HEAVILY thrived in its sound with a remake, and I'm still proud of how this one turned out. However, I was hesitant to re-release this song with how edgy the lyrics are, as I wrote them when I was 16, not realizing how "werewolf" themed lyrics come off nowadays, but it deserves its spot on the channel for being the Lonewolfmusic centerpiece song that embodies who Chris is and his struggles. Enjoy this Lonewolfmusic classic.
