Cleveland Metroparks: 1 dead following incident at Edgewater Park

A Cleveland Metroparks spokesperson says one person is dead after an incident in the area of Edgewater Park Monday night.
According to the spokesperson, surfers located the victim's body in the water. Members of the Cleveland Division of Fire and U.S. Coast Guard assisted Metroparks police in attempting to save the person's life, but to no avail.
The victim has not yet been identified, and the cause of their death is under investigation.
