Mat’s brought together the Mercedes S-Class and the Bentley Flying Spur to see which is the must-have premium saloon… If you have a spare £200,000 to splash out on a new car, that is!

So let’s start with the specs. First up we have the S-Class, and the one we have here is powered by a 3-litre turbocharged straight-six that can deliver 435hp. However, that’s absolutely nothing compared to what the Bentley’s hiding under the bonnet - a 6-litre W12 that can put down 635hp!

But of course, chances are you’re not looking to choose one of these cars for the performance - you’re choosing it for the interior quality! And let’s be honest, they’re both easily two of the most luxurious cars available in 2022.
