#OmkarRatneshwarMandir, which is about 4000 years old, stands tall near #Sari #Village in #Uttarakhand, about half a kilometre walk from the hamlet. The temple is also known as Devariya Nag Temple, and is dedicated to #Nag Devta. It is said that if you pour water on the Shiv Ling here, it slows down to form the shape of 'Om'. The temple is also a structural marvel, very similar to #Kedarnath and #Tungnath in architecture. The temple falls on the way to #Deoriatal Lake from Sari, so you can even trek up further to explore the lake. #Chopta is also close by, about 20kms from Sari, and is full of many wondrous sites and sights. Sari is about a 6 hour 30 mins drive from Uttarakhand's capital #Dehradun, which also has the nearest airport for the region, the Jolly Grant Airport. There are also direct buses to Sari from #Delhi.
