Former foreign minister Alexander Downer weighs in on the US preparing to strike Iran after nuclear negotiations between the countries wrapped up with no deal.
“I think they might hit particular military targets in Iran, including what's left of their nuclear facilities,” Mr Downer told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Americans are doing what they can to try to support the people of Iran, who are trying to rise up against the regime, and they want to signal their support.
“A country like Iran is a serial human rights destroyer.”
