Описание: A difference in the length of legs is caused due to a pelvic tilt, which might in turn be caused due to one side of your hip having weak muscles. When you undergo a hip replacement surgery, we always ensure to measure your leg length and any existing discrepancy beforehand. Only then can we place the implant perfectly, in a way that readjusts your leg length discrepancy. Your hip can readjust upto one centimetre of discrepancy. As already mentioned above, once the muscles in your hip start healing and regain strength, your leg length discrepancy will go away. However, if your implant isn’t placed right, your leg length discrepancy will stay, until you do a surgery on the other hip.
