Here is how to do it:
• When the tire pressure warning light illuminates on your Ram 1500's dashboard, stop and check the inflation pressure of each active road tire. This will help determine which tires are under-inflated, causing the error.
• Next, inflate the low-pressure tires to your vehicle’s recommended cold pressure value. This value is usually on a placard either on the face of the driver’s door or on the driver’s side “B” pillar.
• After all low-pressure tires have been re-inflated to the correct pressure value, your vehicle's TPMS system will automatically update and clear the warning light.
• If the update does not happen automatically, drive the vehicle for at least ten minutes at fifteen miles per hour or above.

Note: In Ram 1500 models equipped with the "Light Load" reset switch, you can reset the tire pressure warnings by switching the TPMS to the Light Load thresholds. To do this:
• Turn your Ram 1500’s ignition to the “RUN” position. This will power up the in-vehicle electrical systems but won’t start the engine.
• Next, slightly deflate all four active road tires to the light load inflation pressure values. These values can be obtained from the Supplemental Pressure details placard.
• After decreasing each active tire pressure to its recommended values, press the “Light Load” reset switch. The switch’s amber LED should turn ON when the TPMS is switched to the Light Load mode.
• If the LED flashes for ten seconds instead of turning solid amber, one or more active road tires are not inflated to the correct Light Load values. Use an accurate tire pressure gauge to readjust the pressure values and repeat the procedure.
