A Guide To Faking Your Own Death

Anyway, I came across an article about faking your own death the other week, and found myself perplexed at this strange practice of pseudocide that I'd never heard of before... except in that movie "Double Jeopardy". It seems to be the ace in the hole for many people, something they can turn to when all else fails.

Although it's mainly people trying to get paid by defrauding others, or criminals trying to literally kill their past sins, some people just want a restart on their life. There's a few cases of people faking their death to get out of their relationships or even marriages. Then on the other hand there's the nun from the 1400's, whose priest seemed to think she faked her death to participate in orgies and what not (don't quote me on that). Another interesting case was Arkady Babchenko, a reporter who faked his own death to foil an assassination plot on his life.

The reasons for pseudocide, the lengths that perpetrators will go to, and the whole concept of faking your death is truly interesting, but what I found most amazing is that... it's all legal. Faking your own death isn't illegal in any country, but the reason people get jailed is the reasons they decide to do it in the first place. As I said before, they either owe people money, are trying to steal money, or are running from their sins.

As I dug deeper into the numerous cases of failed pseudocides, I found a few commonalities and thought I'd point them out and make this video.

This video breifly covers the cases of Marcus Shrenker, Igor Vorotinov and Nicholas Alahverdian... aka Nicholas Rossi, Arthur Knight, Big Rapist, etc.

Oh, and of course, this is not actual advice on how to fake your own death and is purely for entertainment purposes.
