Methi Ka Cheela -
Ingredients -
2 cup fenugreek leaves (methi (washed and chopped)
1/2 cup coriander leaves (washed and finely chopped)
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup jowar or bajra flour
1 tsp heaped green chilly paste (spicy)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi powder)
1 tsp heaped ginger paste
1 tsp heaped garlic paste
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp coriander seeds powder (Dhaniya powder)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder (Jeera powder)
1 tsp salt (or as per taste)
1/4 cup curd (Dahi)
1 tblsp oil
Method -
1) Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and make them into a smooth batter by adding 3/4 to 1 cup water. Give the batter 10 minutes of rest.
2) Add some oil in a pan and spread the Cheela on the pan. Roast the Cheela with oil on both sides and cook till firm and crispy. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
