The circuit primarily consists of diodes 1N5408 and capacitors 1000uF.
Operation: During the positive half-cycle of the input AC voltage, one diode conducts and charges a capacitor. In the negative half-cycle, the other diode conducts and charges the second capacitor. The voltages across these capacitors add up, resulting in an output voltage that is approximately twice the peak input voltage.
