From coming to Nrityagram to study under her guru Protima Gour to later becoming a guru herself, she is now one of the leading teachers, choreographers and guardians of Nrityagram. She has travelled the world performing and choreographing Odissi piece, bringing the dance form up to the forefront of Indian classical dance.
