We Got A HUGE Surprise at Sea… CASTAWAY CAY! | Disney Fantasy | Part 7

Описание: Part 7 of our Disney Fantasy Transatlantic Cruise is another full day at sea… but it includes one of the biggest surprises of the entire trip. 🌊✨

We start the day in the Walt Disney Theatre with a special appearance by legendary Disney artist Don “Ducky” Williams. We couldn’t film the presentation itself, but you do see the end of the event — including the raffle for the 20+ drawings he created for guests as they entered the theatre, plus a lovely thank you from the Assistant Cruise Director.

After that, we spend some time playing the ship’s interactive game Midship Detective Agency, using one of the enchanted paintings as we try to save the Dalmatians 🐾 (and yes, we get way too invested).

Following a quick ice cream break, we head back to the cabin for a little reset — James grabs a nap while Chris heads to the gym. Then it’s time for the evening entertainment: the Broadway Stars Series in the Walt Disney Theatre, joined by our friend Justin. We couldn’t film the show itself, but you’ll see a little snippet beforehand and the Cruise Director at the end.

The night continues in The Tube for 2000s Music Trivia… and that’s when the whole cruise takes a turn.

🚨 SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Captain Wesley reveals that we will now be visiting Disney’s Castaway Cay on the last full day of the cruise! He apologises for the bumpy start to the crossing, missing Vigo due to weather, and explains that a change to the Disney Destiny itinerary freed up the day.

The reaction across the ship was incredible — loud cheering everywhere… and even the crew didn’t know it was happening!

After the excitement, we decide to skip dinner in our rotational restaurant (we weren’t feeling the menu) and instead head to the D Lounge for Disney Tunes Trivia, before ending the night with light bites from the Europa buffet.
