Hey friends! Thank you so much for your patience with my uploading delays during vlogmas the past several days; I have been in a LOT of pain and have been unable to edit the content that I've been filming!
In this video, I give an overview of what the transplant process looks like! The overarching stages include planning ahead, preparation, conditioning regimen, the transplant itself, engraftment, and recovery.
This is the first video in a series of videos that I will call "One-take Wonders!" Given that I am not feeling well due to SCD, and will be entering a transplant season where I will likely have many days where I am unwell, I want to still allow myself the possibility to upload content for you all without overexerting myself. These videos will be unedited, so I'd appreciate it if you extend some grace if you hear many "uumms," mistakes, or pauses in my train of thought. I hope you learn a lot from this video!
