The Embassy of Israel in Addis Ababa and MASHAV partnered with JDC and the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia to launch a Comprehensive Advanced Anesthesia Training for nearly 100 doctors and medical professionals from hospitals across the Addis Ababa region.
Hosted at ALERT Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, the training focused on anesthesia and airway management, ICU protocols, trauma response, emergency care, and spine treatment procedures.
The visiting Israeli medical team also donated essential diagnostic and ICU equipment to support local infrastructure. This capacity-building program is part of an ongoing collaboration between the partners, focused on system strengthening, facility restoration, and professional training.
MASHAV’s support reflects our commitment to long-term partnerships in the health sector and enabled an expanded curriculum with twice the number of participants.
