Описание: United Nation Ave. and Marcelo Fernan Bridge- This is the second bridge that connects Mandaue City, (Cebu mainland) and Lapu-lapu City (Mactan Island). the design of this bridge is a cables stayed bridge, and this a 4 lane, two way traffic in each direction. and it is connected directly to Mactan-Cebu International Airport. it was opened to public on 1999, and was constructed with the help of Japanese engineers. and as of 2015, we are waiting for the construction of the 3rd ridge in cebu. a 6 lane bridge, 3 lanes in each direction will soon connect the municipality of Cordova (Mactan island) then pass through Shell island and then down to brgy. Pasil, Cebu city.
