Their last home game as a Manly side was on 15 August 1999 [ • 1999 Round 24 Manly vs. Brisbane Broncos (... ]. So many fans were lost in the intervening years - not only to Manly - but also to rugby league. For those who still cared (and the crowd of over 14,000 suggested many still did), this was a special night, irrespective of the result, which was admittedly dampened by Stacey Jones and his Kiwi team.
