Описание: In a late-night operation, the TN Forest Department safely captured and translocated a tiger in Gudalur in the Nilgiris, which had begun moving frequently towards villages and was involved in the conflict. The capture and relocation was carried out to prevent an escalation of human wildlife conflict. What makes this operation truly exceptional is that no sedation was used at any stage, thanks to the skill, precision and field experience of our frontline team led by Gudalur DFO Thiru Vengatesh, veterinarians, and the dedicated team of forest rangers, guards and watchers. The operation was conducted under the protocol of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) and monitored by CWLW Thiru Rakesh Dogra.
