In Coimbatore’s Vadavalli Ward 36, a DMK functionary reportedly converted a government Urban Primary Health Centre into his personal residence and is living there with his family. Annamalai questioned how such an act could happen without the support of influential leaders within the ruling party. He emphasized that Primary Health Centres are lifelines for poor and middle-class people who depend on them for maternity care and emergency treatment.

He also questioned the silence of Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian, asking why strict action has not been taken while government hospitals across the state struggle with basic facilities.

In another issue, Annamalai raised serious concerns about alleged corruption in the installation of two elevators at the Swamimalai Swaminatha Swamy Temple, one of the six sacred abodes of Lord Murugan. The DMK government reportedly spent ₹3.55 crore from devotees’ donations, but the elevators reportedly failed to function during their inauguration by ministers P. K. Sekar Babu and Kovi Chezhiyan.

Annamalai demanded a full quality inspection of the elevators and complete transparency in the ₹3.55 crore expenditure. He questioned whether devotees’ donations were misused and whether the elevators are safe for elderly pilgrims.

மேலும், முருகப்பெருமானின் அறுபடை வீடுகளில் ஒன்றான சுவாமிமலை சுவாமிநாத சுவாமி திருக்கோவில் கோவிலில் இரண்டு மின்தூக்கிகள் அமைக்க பக்தர்களின் காணிக்கை பணத்தில் ₹3.55 கோடி செலவிட்டதாக கூறப்பட்ட நிலையில், இன்று திறப்பு விழாவில் அவை வேலை செய்யவில்லை என கூறப்படுகிறது.
